While things continue to settle down in Ceiba after the removal of president Zelaya, efforts remain to convince the world about the truth in Honduras. Yesterday I walked alongside appx 3000 other Ceibenos in favor of the Government action to remove Zelaya from office. Chants of “FUERA MEL” (OUT WITH MEL), y “SOLO PAZ” (ONLY PEACE) filled the air as we walked 10 blocks from the main road all the way to the beach.

It is still discouraging that many uninformed countries are taking the side of Zelaya, claiming he stands fro democracy. We should be applauding Honduras for being one of a handful of nations to CHOOSE democracy over dictatorship, and stand up against Zelaya.
That's right. The three of us -- Josh Bolton, Jamie Jacobsen, and Andy Stuntz -- are delaying college for a year to serve as missionary interns in La Ceiba, Honduras. We'll be helping two new missionary families as they plant a church, start a medical clinic, and reach out to street kids. Mostly though, we want to be vulnerable and to experience and share the power and hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That's where it's at, and that's where we want to be. Join us as we slowly learn what in the world that means!
